Note 2: Hours

Increasingly hard to find time to practice on the piano nowadays.
I can't believe how am I going to survive...(Hold on... Not that dramatic)

My mom pleaded with me NOT to listen to the iPod when I study.
After about 45 minutes I think I have cold turkey syndrome, you know the ones that drug offenders have?
Yes.
I was so cranky and upset. I also don't know where did that came from.
It also happens during the General Paper class today.

The silence is killing me!
Yet I abhor random noises.
Something must be wrong with me....

Anyways.
Just now, got scolded by my father for playing piano late in the night.
Yet he later turned against his word by asking me to play louder as it is his favorite song!
What a hypocrite!

Returning to the basics seems good for me.
Bach Two-part Invention seems like a good choice for me.

The two-part invention is actually a single hand each plays a different melody. Yet it blends together.
Although in actuality is not like that.....

If anyone of you want to know, I will gladly explain it to you.
Richard Claydermann!
You the man!! He is not even the top tiered artiste. Yet he still manage to win the hearts of other audience.

I hope I can captivate audiences unlike any others.

Ok.

Note 1: Feelings

Basically, I have decided like other blogs, to number each and every post starting from now.

I have chosen "note" because it represents the basic thing on a piano score need to be played.

And also it serves the other meaning of telling me to take notice of my past and learn from it.

Feelings,
Ah.
It was lost for me.
I could not find it yet, not now...

I am too committed to other things.
Like want to find a suitable blogskin for this ugly blog.
Need to beautify it more right?

Feelings after the exams were slowly trickling back to me, I have realized no matter how hard you play or how fast you play.
If you can enjoy the song, and can able to show it to all.
You already won the audience over.

Now this generation is coming to a close.
Classical Music is taking the back seat now.
New forms of music are coming into play.

This is a fresh start and I am going to make my dreams come true in one way or another.

Signing off.

The Eternal Harvest

Today,

It is just the normal day for me.

But I have just completed the Golden Saucer.

When I said completed, I do not mean mastering it.

To me mastering a piece is like perfecting an art, need constant care, throwing away "sketches".

I still have to perfect my 'unique feeling' to each individual pieces, give it the zing that not even a recording can capture.

Meanwhile,
I am starting on the Eternal Harvest,
with a plethora of running and fast notes, it proves a challenge to me to step up to higher levels of playing.

But bit by bit.
Getting closer to the dream that I want to be.
A video-game music composer.
