I think I will be done this week and able to move on to new songs such as the Wedding March or the other Final Fantasy V song...

Recently I was introduced by Jonathan to a composer called Franz Liszt.
He composed the popular song "Hungarian Rhapsody No.2"...

It is a bit addictive..
Although it is a very difficult song..

I almost finished this "Harvest" piece.

It is about 87% complete and the good news..
I managed to get 90% of the chorus part right!!!

I am so tired after playing...

Must be lack of sugar..

SO I am going to move on to the other parts...

I just must find a suitable piece for Tommy..

Because I need to expose him to other pieces other than Exam Pieces..
Which will of course make him bored..

Turns out to be a Fan-Arrangement..

WHich is proven to be too erhm..
Painful to the ears..

So I am now finding one on the Internet..

Finally I managed to squeeze a teeny little bit out of the piece and make it sound presentable..

It is not like me to do that...

I managed to complete 78% of the piece..

I will do a review of it when I am done with the piece..

Today I have a lesson with Tommy and Irene...

But I came a bit too early I fear...

I have to wait for them to make their way home...

So I waited from 2.pm till 3.15p.m...











You know right...
It is very tiring and I was being sapped of all energy when I attend a lesson..

I gave it my all and my mental capability...
I had to hold them together...
I have to exert control over myself and think carefully what to teach...

If they did not practise I have to drill them and make them do it...

I cannot afford to waste any more lesson times as exams are drawing near and I still have a "JC" problem to deal with...

It was about a few months ago when I last touch the theory books..

I totally forgotten every single thing...

SO EXHAUSTING!!!

I gave it all I got..
Yet...
With more and more lessons with them I tend less to stumble with my words and gain more confidence in teaching them..

SO Yup...
I must make them pass their piano exam!!!

I am learning Colors of the Wind by Vanessa Williams...

Yeah...
That is about it..

It is basically a piano version..
So it must be accompanied by a vocalist to be a complete version..
DUH...

So I better start looking at all of the notes!!

It is a simple song that is comprises of triplets...
However it is difficult to get the feel right...

It is fun and lilting theme and and based off jazzy tunes...

Now about 1/4 through..

Oh yeah...
I will post my thoughts about these pieces and the journey about learning each and every pieces in this blog...
